What's Your Story? : Bringing Scripts to Life on Stage

This workshop is presented by EM Drama.

This is a beginner level script-writing workshop that you'll learn from an award-winning playwright.

4 sessions over 2 weekends.

Date : 18th - 19th Sept & 25 - 26th Sept 2021.

Time : 10 am - 12 pm

Location : Lessons are over Zoom.

Age : 11 - 15 years old

Price : RM 400 (*Please select the first workshop session - 18th Sept, to make the payment for the entire workshop)

NOTE : This is a 4-day workshop and full payment (RM 400) have to be made before the start of the workshop.

About Terence Toh

Terence Toh writes article by day and stories by night. He is an editor at a regional publication. He is also a playwright who has written many short scripts, that have been staged in productions such as Indicinelive IV, Indicineline Quaranstream, 4 Love: Through The Decades and more. His first full length script, 'Restless', had a staged reading as part of the Actor's Studio New Play Project. Terence has written two full length musicals, 'Euphrasia' (with Cheah Uihua) and 'The Working Dead', both of which won multiple awards at the BOH Cameronian Arts Awards in 2020. He has also written numerous short stories and a novel, 'Toyols R Us', which won the first Fixi Novo Malaysian Novel competition.

About EM Drama

EM Drama, we teach drama by day, and practice it by night. As drama teachers, we believe we also need to be an example to our students. We are active theatre practitioners in the Malaysian theatre scene. Esther is a director and actor, while Meng Kheng is an actor, producer, and emcee.

We have also been teaching Speech and Drama for the past 6 years. We have taught in kindergartens, learning centres, international schools, and even conducted acting and directing workshops for adults.
