Junior Dance Choreography - An Introduction
What do you do during the class?
Starting with some warm up exercises, the teachers then guide the students step by step to execute the dance moves to a short dance choreography. The student learns musicality, rhythm, gestures and expressions.
Dancing requires a strong set of core muscles and lots of energy. The child will get a good workout and physical training in every class, while having loads of fun!
At the end of the class, students will have learnt roughly 45 to 60 seconds of dance choreography, depending on the progress of the students.
In the long run, students also develop self confidence, improve their memory, and learn to focus.
Some basic dance exposure is an advantage, although is not a requirement. Other than that, the child must show an interest in dance and movement to music.
Please wear comfortable clothing which does not restrict movement. Shoes are preferred, to prevent injury or pressure on the feet.
