Song Interpretation

Let's discover how to make those dreaded 32 bars (or more) comfortable, truthful, sounding great and even looking awesome!

In these sessions we will be focusing on text analysis, finding connection between you and the character, voice technique specifics, acting through song, scene to song and most importantly truthful performance.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

3 singers will perform, however this class will be useful to all participants, not just the featured singers.

For those who would like to sing:
1. Sign up!
2. Email [email protected] with the date and class you would like to sing in.
3. 48 hours before class, those who are randomly selected to sing will be contacted. They will have 24 hours to confirm their space before it is passed on!

Singers will need to come with a 32 bar cut of a song they wish to work on. You can sing it acapella or with a backing track. It doesn't matter if you're a seasonal professional or singing in front of people for the first time. We'd love to see you perform!

Doron Chester

Doron is a singer, actor, writer, teacher and good-mover. Before the good old Covid-19, Doron was seen playing the villainous Iago in Disney's Aladdin and was an off-stage swing in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical (Michael Cassel). His other theatre credits include Grease, Kiss Me Kate, Hello Dolly! and many more. Doron is also currently writing and developing his TV show and play: Moses Queen of the Desert.
